The following individuals have devoted great time, effort, and money, to assist
the families of the missing servicemen in determing the fate of their loved ones,
and promoting public awareness of their plight. They are being singled out because
in many cases they have never received the proper recognition they deserve for their
sacrifices. In some cases, they have been persecuted and abused by other POW/MIA
activists, veterans, and a few POW/MIA family members who view this issue as a political
contest, or seek to eliminate competition for influence in the veterans community,
and in some cases competition for merchandise sales.
